I was in Paris last week and saw this thing from afar. Was in a hurry so didn’t get any closer that this. Has a bit of a dent on the back passanger side but otherwise looks pretty good. I will mass upload photos of cool cars from my trip soon.
Also, that ISN’T Al Roker.

I’m pretty sure that’s a Fiat 500 but I’m the Toyota guy, not the Fiat guy.

CLASSIC FIAT 500! :D
Much love for these things! As weird as it is, they are a dream car of mine, along with their later descendent the FIAT 126! :D
Rear-engined, rear wheel drive 2-cylinders making between 13-17hp depending on model year and engine size. That one is a FIAT 500 L (‘Lusso’) model, so late ‘60's, early 70's (1968-1972) 17hp model- you can tell by the odd bent metal bumper over-rider frame...things...(not sure what they are called!). You can also tell from the doors - FIAT 500 D and Nuova FIAT 500 before it had suicide doors (although the 500 F RIGHT before it, generation-wise also had ‘normal’ doors, but no bumper “over-rider” things). A lot of people retrofit the larger engine from the FIAT 126 into these though as the engines are literally bolt-in, no modification - those had a harrowing 24hp! :D
...I’ll shut up now :P
They are VERY rare here in Canada...but a fellow near me here in Nova Scotia (although the guy is only here for the summer, he’s from Ontario) keeps two unregistered, uninsured and tucked away with a lot of other goodies in a special car garage he had built for his collection...I keep my eye out in case he is ever there when I drive past just so I can go in and look at them in person! I saw them in person the other year up close for all of 5 minutes when workers had his collection out of the building for rennovations, but the owner wasn’t around so I didn’t want to stay and gawk long...

You can see 500s everywhere in Italy but a live one in Paris isn’t a common sight.

This was the only one I saw all week. I saw a few classic mini’s though.
